Peabody has many historic cemeteries. If you are interested in knowing more – we are posting some information compiled by the Essex Society of Genealogists in 1991.

Note that the Peabody Historical Society often has the historic records for many of the cemeteries. However, the maintenance and more recent records belong to their caretakers – the City of Peabody, the Peabody Historical Commission or individual religious organizations.
