The Peabody Historical Fire Museum (circa 1875) is the site of our monthly lecture series focusing on local history.

The building originally used by Peabody Engine Company No. 3 was moved to the Historical Society's Brooksby properties in 1990. Located on Felton Street just two miles from Interstate 95, Routes 1, 128 and 114, the Fire Museum sites atop a tree-lined landscape and is part of the Society's Felton-Smith Historic Site.

On the first level, the visitor is greeted by fascinating displays of firefighting artifacts. The winding staircase at the back leads to the brightly-lit second floor function hall.

The windows of the hall reveal breathtaking views of the Brooksby's apple orchards and the surrounding peaceful forests and wide open fields.

The Torrent 3 Firehouse is air-conditioned for year-round comfort.
